What is Oxiracetam?
Olacetam, along with piracetam and aniracetam, are three brain metabolism improving drugs commonly used in clinical practice. They are pyrrolidone derivatives, which were successfully developed by the Italian company Shkopicharm in 1974 and marketed in 1987. The mechanism of action of aniracetam is similar to piracetam, which can promote the synthesis of phosphorylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, increase the ratio of ATP/ADP in the brain, and lead to an increase in the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids in the brain, with the ability to improve memory and learning functions in patients with Alzheimer's disease and memory impairment. In animal experiments, it is proved that it can improve thinking memory function and learning performance in various behavioral experiments, reduce memory impairment caused by brain electroshock, antagonize the reduction of learning ability in rats suffering from spontaneous hypertensive cerebrovascular injury, it can elevate the operation of acetylcholine in cortical and hippocampal parts of rats, and increase the affinity in favor of choline uptake. Function of Oxiracetam
1.
