Copper Sulfide/High Temperature and Friction Resistance       
The main component of Copper Sulfide is CuFeS2, yellow green powder form.
Copper Sulfide has low Mohs hardness with excellent properties of diffusion and viscous flow and with the decomposition temperature at 600 °C. Copper Sulfide in friction material formulation will assist to form new crystals with other materials under high temperature and aggregate into useful friction film to increase the friction force and wear resistance. Copper Sulfide can partially generate cuprous sulfide, ferrous sulfide, copper and other elements under high temperature. It can also regulate the friction and wear performance as the main raw material in ceramic formula in friction industries.
