API 11e Redution Gear for Oilfield Walking Beam Pumping Unit

General Introduction:
The reducer adopts split type box structure and shunt double reduction   involute   herringbone gear transmission. It has the advantages of high capacity, long service life,   excellent performance, and convenient maintenance.

Structure:
The reducer is installed on the base of the walking beam pumping unit and is directly   driven by the motor through the adhesive tape. Both ends of the driven shaft are equipped  with cranks. One end of the driving shaft is equipped with a sheave, and the other end is  equipped with a brake wheel with a dead brake device.

Both the driving shaft assembly and the intermediate shaft assembly adopt short   cylindrical roller bearings. The driven shaft assembly has two radial spherical roller   bearings. One end is a fixed end, and the other end is a movable end. When the reducer is   overhauled and reassembled, the bearing caps should be press - fitted according to the  thickness of the gaskets used by the factory. The gap at the fixed end can be eliminated  by adjusting the gasket, and the bearing cap need to be tightened with screws to prevent  oil leakage. The movable end should leave a 0.5-1mm gap between the bearing end  surface and the bearing cap, which can be realized by adjusting the thickness of the gasket.

The gears in the reducer are all lubricated by oil bath and splash lubrication. The joint  surface of the reducer box is coated with sealant. There is a two-way oil scraper between  the intermediate gear and the box base, and an oil groove is opened on the joint surface  of the box base, so that the lubricating oil splashed by the gear can flow into the oil groove  to lubricate the bearings. Three plugs are installed on the box base, the upper two are used   for checking the oil level, and the lower one is used for draining the oil. An inspection hole   is on the top of the box, and a venting cover is on the inspection hole.
