MCA is used as an effective flame retardant, primarily for electrical & electronic applications (connectors, switches, housings, etc) made from polyamide or TPU.

In unfilled or mineral filled compounds it gives a UL94 V-0 rating; in glass filled system only a UL94 V-2 rating is possible.

* High sublimation temperature (440°C) with high thermal resistance and thermal processing stability.

Application
 
MAC can be widely used in rubber, nylon, phenolic resin, epoxy resin, acrylic emulsion, polytetrafluoroethylene resin and other olefin resins as flame retardant components.
MCA is non-toxic, no physiological damage, can make the skin dense, smooth and good adhesion to the skin, can be formulated skin cosmetics, can also be used as paint matting agent.
