Posaconazol kann invasive Pilzinfektionen wirksam verhindern. Obwohl die FDA die Injektion von Posaconazol für die Vermarktung zugelassen hat (im März 2014 zugelassen), hat sich ihr Status als wichtigstes Präventivmedikament nicht geändert. Das antimykotische Spektrum von Echinodin-Medikamenten (Ca-spofungin, Anidulafungin und Micafungin) ist schmaler als das von Triazol- und Polyol-Medikamenten.
Verwenden
Es kann klinisch zur Behandlung von Aspergillose, Zygomykose und Fusariumerkrankungen eingesetzt werden, und kann auch zur Behandlung einiger fluconazolresistenten Candida-Infektionen verwendet werden. Studien haben gezeigt, dass Posaconazol Hyphomycosis phalaenopsis weit und effektiv behandeln kann und die Überlebensrate von Patienten verbessert, die mit Phalaenopsis Dermatitis infiziert sind. Der Effekt ist dosisabhängig.
