cyclandelate (cyclandelate), also known as angiogenic and antithrombotic pills, is known as 3, 3, 5-trimethyl
cyclohexanol-DL-mandelate, which is an excellent vasodilator developed by Elan Company in Ireland.
Cyclomandelate is used in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as hypertension
and limb peripheral vascular disorders. It can play the role of activating nerves and reducing blood clotting,
and is one of the common drugs widely used in clinical practice.
The structure is similar to papaverine. Single or continuous administration increased blood flow to the brain,
heart, kidney and extremities. It can directly relax vascular smooth muscle to dilate blood vessels, and
selectively continue to dilate brain, kidney, blood vessels and coronary arteries, thus increasing blood flow.
The effect is weaker and longer than papaverine. It also promotes collateral circulation. It has little effect on
respiration, heart rate, cardiac output, myocardial oxygen consumption and blood pressure.
