Low Temperature Cure Powder Coating   P olyester R esin   for Hybrid Powder Coatings
HH2762 is a carboxyl polyester resin designed for 70/30 hybrid low temperature curing powder coatings.
In recent years, natural disasters caused by global warming have become more and more frequent, prompting the continuous improvement of people's environmental awareness and environmental protection standards. Powder coating fully conforms to the internationally popular 4E (economic, environmental protection, high efficiency, and excellent performance) principles. The energy-saving and emission reduction advantages of low-temperature curing powder coatings are more prominent, and they have attracted widespread attention in the industry and become the development direction of powder coatings.
The film-forming and curing temperatures of ordinary powder coatings are 180~220ºC, and the baking time is 15~25min. The curing time of HH2762 is 160ºC for 10-15 minutes. Compared with traditional high-temperature curing powder coatings, the film-forming temperature is lower, which can save a lot of energy. Some data show that every 10°C drop in the curing film-forming temperature of the coating can save about 10% of energy.
