Polyether-polyol    CF-PPG-400I, 37353-75-6 29694-85-7
Polyether polyols wordt vooral gebruikt in polyurethaanschuim. Flexibele schuimen worden voornamelijk gebruikt in dempende toepassingen zoals meubilair, beddengoed en autostoelen, en in de onderlaag van tapijt. De grootste consument van stijf schuim is de bouwsector waar het voornamelijk wordt gebruikt voor isolatie. Stijf schuim wordt ook gebruikt in commerciële koeling en verpakking. Kleinere toepassingen voor polyether-polyollen zijn elastomeren, kleefstoffen en afdichtmiddelen, oppervlaktecoatings en polyurethaanvezels.
