Aws E7015 Carbon Steel Welding Electrodes
Description:
J507 is Low-hydrogen sodium coated steel type electrode, that provides excellent plasticity and toughness performances, as well as crack resistance performance. It can be operated in all positions welding on DC reversed.
Application:
It is suitable for welding middle carbon steel and low alloy steel, such as 16Mn, 09Mn2Si, 09Mn2V, etc.
Notes:
1. Electrodes must be baked for 1 hour at 350°C before welding operation.
2. It is essential to clean up rusty, oil scale, water, and impurities on welding parts.
3. Short arc operation is required when welding. The narrow welding track is proper.
