Appearance :  White crystalline solid .
Melting Point:  60-80ºC .
Vapour Pressure:   <10m Pa at 20 °C .
Stability  :  Practically insoluble in water. In benzene and xylene 500, acetone, toluene andtrichloroethane 400, cyclohexanone, ethylacetate and   methylnapht- h a lene 350, methylisobutylketone 250, Freon 11(trichlorofluoromethane)  
230, piperonyl butoxide 200, methanol 53, kerosene 30, hexnae 20, Freon 12(dichlorodifluoromethane) 13 (all in g/kg at 25 °C )

Uses:   Synthetic pyrethroid compound developed in Japan. Water-based pressurized sprays for flying insects, garden pests. Control of stored product pests is promising
