Polystyrene (PS) , is a synthetic resin made byhomopolymerization of styrene monomers or with other comonomers . Sinopec is able to produce general-purpose PS (GPPS) and highimpact PS (HIPS).  GPPS can be used to make daily necessities, electrical instrument shells, toys, lamps, cosmetic containers, decorations, optical parts (such as triangular prisms and lens), auto headlights, telecom accessories, capacitor films, highfrequency insulating materials, waveguide tubes, chemical vessels, structural foam products, etc. HIPS can be used to make shells of electrical household appliances, refrigerator lining, plates, TV sets, recorders, telephone body cases, stationary, toys, packaging vessels, daily necessities, dishware, etc.
PP:

Polypropylenes  is a polymer of propyleneS by addition polymerization.   It is white waxy material, transparent and light in appearance.   Chemical formula is (C3H6) N, density 0.89 ~ 0.91g/cm3, flammable, melting point 189ºC, softening at 155ºC or so, the use of temperature range of -30 ~ 140ºC.   Under 80ºC, it can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali, salt liquid and various organic solvents, and can decompose under the action of high temperature and oxidation.   PolypropyleneS is widely used in the production of clothing, blankets and other fiber products, medical instruments, automobiles, bicycles, parts, pipelines, chemical containers, and also used in food and drug packaging .
LDPE:

O verview of  LDPE ( Low density polyethylene )

Low-density polyethylene  ( LDPE ) is a synthetic resin using a high pressure process via free radical polymerization of ethylene and is therefore also called "high-pressure polyethylene". It is suitable for being used in all types of thermoplastic processing processes, such as injection molding, extrusion molding, blow molding, rotomolding, coating, foaming, thermoforming, hot-jet welding and thermal welding.

Product performance of LDPE(Low density polyethylene )

Low density polyethylene has the following characteristics:

1. The film is milky white transparent and soft.  The strength is lower than hdPE, and the impact strength is higher than HDPE.

2. Cold resistance, low temperature and high temperature resistance.  Thicker film can withstand the sterilization process of soaking in 90ºC hot water.

3. Good moisture-proof performance, stable chemical properties, insoluble in general solvents.

4. It has a large air permeability, so when used as easily oxidized food packaging, the storage period of its contents should not be too long. 5. Long period of uv and heat will be aging, affecting its physical properties and dielectric properties.
ABS:
ABS is largely used in the production of components and parts of electrical household appliances and equipments, including the shells, linings and spare parts of TV sets, recorders, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, water dispensers, telephones and electric fans, etc. It can also be used to make gears, impellers, bearings, handles, pipes and panels used in the machinery industry. It is also used in the automobile industry to make dashboards, splashboards and armrests. ABS is also widely used in the production of cases, bags, office equipments, duplicating machines, toys, food packaging vessels and furnitures. Products made from ABS can be re-processed through galvanization, welding and coating to make ornaments as substitutes of metals

HDPE:

High density Polyethylene (HDPE) :   is a highly crystalline non-polar thermoplastic resin produced through the copolymerization of ethylene and a small amount of α-olefin monomer. HDPE is synthesized under low pressure and is therefore also called low-pressure polyethylene. HDPE is mainly a linear molecular structure and has little branching. It has a high degree of crystallization and high density. It can withstand high temperatures and has good rigidity and mechanical strength and anti-chemical corrosion.
Properties:
High density polyethylene for non-toxic, tasteless, no smelly white particles, melting point is about 130 ° C, relative density of
0.941 ~ 0.960. It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, good
mechanical strength. Dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance sex also is good.
