What is Potassium Iodide?
Colorless or white cubic crystals. Odorless, with a strong bitter and salty taste. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methano, aceton, glycerol and liquid ammoni, slightly soluble in ether. Its aqueous solution is neutral or slightly alkaline.

Uses of Potassium Iodide

5. It is the raw material for the manufacture of iodide and dyes. Used as photographic photosensitive emulsifier.
