Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 can delay and inhibit the production of excessive interleukin, thereby inhibiting some unnecessary and inappropriate inflammatory responses and glycosylation damage. In vitro, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 induced a significant dose-dependent reduction in cellular interleukin production. The higher the dose of palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3, the greater the reduction in cellular interleukins-up to 40%. UV radiation is known to promote the production of cellular interleukins. Cells exposed to UV radiation and then treated with palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 saw an 86% reduction in cellular interleukins. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-3 is a key ingredient in Matrixyl 3000, combined with Palmitoyl Oligopeptide can promote the growth of connective tissue and increase the production of collagen in the skin; when collagen increases , the skin can heal and regenerate itself. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 can accelerate the expression of granulocyte chemoattractant protein (GCP-2) and promote wound recovery. At the same time, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3 is a fragment of immunoglobulin IgG, and IgG has many biologically active functions, especially immunomodulatory functions.
