Physical properties of HEPBS

The CAS number of HEPBS is 161308-36-7, and it is a white crystalline powder at 25 ºC. Its pKa value is 8.3, which is in line with the environment of cell growth. Chemical properties of HEPBS

The buffer capacity of HEPBS buffer is strong within the pH range of 7.6 to 9.0. HEPBS is a facultative ionic compound with both positive and negative charges in its molecular structure. However, it can be oxidized by strong oxidants and reduced by strong reducing agents.
