Product Description

Ganciclovir sodium is an analogue of 2'- deoxyguanine nucleotide, which can inhibit the replication of herpes virus. Its mechanism of action is that ganciclovir is first phosphorylated to monophosphate by protein kinase homologue encoded by CMV (UL97 gene), and then further phosphorylated to diphosphate and triphosphate by cell kinase.
