Silicone foam dressing is a highly absorbent dressing made from hydrophilic polyurethane foam, ideally designed for heavily exuding wounds. The soft flexible foam absorbs large amount exudates,   ensures patients comfort; The top backing film protect wounds against external bacterial. It ' s a disposable sterile product,   it consists of silicone gel and polyurethane foam,   it has high liquid absorptive volume, isolates the wound penetrant   liquid from the wound effectively,   and reduce the possibility that the wound is infected.   The product can form and keep a moist environment,   promote wound healing,   and reduce the second damage when changing the dressing.
Silicone foam dressing is a sterile multi-layer dressing, composed of a four-layer hydroactive surface, for effective management of the exudate. The contact layer of soft silicone covers the entire surface of the product, assuring easy application and non-traumatic removal. In this way, the dressing maybe removed with ease, without damaging the wound and the perilesional skin, reduce the patient's pain. In addition, the silicone contact layer seals the wound's edges, protecting the perilesional skin from lateral exudate leaks and from maceration.

Silicone foam dressing consists of a silicone wound contact   layer, a super absorbent pad, a polyurethane foam, and a vapour permeable   and waterproof polyurethane film. The multi-layered construction facilitates   dynamic fluid management to provide the optimal moist wound environment   which leads to the promotion of faster wound closure and may help to reduce   the risk of maceration, The gentle silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned   without losing its adherent. Also, this layer can minimise pain to patients and   trauma to wounds and the surrounding skin. The absorbent pad layer provides   superior absorption and locks exudates away.

4. No extra fixing is necessary: the dressing is already complete.
5. The dressing may be removed and repositioned between changes, to facilitate possible inspections of the wound, while maintaining its properties of  gentle adhesion to the dry skin.
