Product Description
Tool steel plates are types of steel plates used in the manufacture of tools with high hardness, wear resistance, and toughness. Typical grades such as P20, 718, and 1.2311 are pre-hardened plastic mould tool steels with different chemical compositions, hardness, and wear resistance, mainly used in the manufacture of injection molds, extrusion dies, die-casting molds, and other products. 1.2312 is a variant of 1.2311 with a higher sulfur content, which improves machinability but reduces polishability.
Tool steel plates are used for making injection moulds, die casting dies, extrusion dies, blow moulds, cutting blades, drills and gauges, and other products, as well as in the manufacture of holders, plates, bolts, and forming tools. They can be machined easily and polished to a high finish.
