Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a general term of acrylamide homopolymer or polymer copolymerized
with other monomers. It is one of the most widely used varieties in water-soluble polymers.
Because the structural unit of polyacrylamide contains amide group and is easy to form hydrogen
bond, it has good water solubility and high chemical activity. It is easy to obtain a variety of modifiers
with branched chain or network structure through grafting or cross-linking. It is widely used in
petroleum exploitation, water treatment, textile, papermaking, beneficiation, medicine, agriculture
and otherindustries, and is known as "Baiye assistant".

1.Water treatment includes raw water treatment, sewage treatment and industrial water treatment.
It can be used in combination with activated carbon in raw water treatment for coagulation and
clarification of suspended particles in domestic water. Using organic flocculant acrylamide instead
of inorganic flocculant, the water purification capacity can be increased by more than 20% even if
the sedimentation tank is not reformed; In sewage treatment, polyacrylamide can increase the
utilization rate of water reuse cycle and can also be used for sludge dewatering; It is used as an
important formulation agent in industrial water treatment
2.Polyacrylamide is a kind of multifunctional oilfield chemical treatment agent, which is widely used
in the process of drilling, cementing, completion, workover, fracturing, acidification, water injection,
water shutoff and profile control and tertiary oil recovery, especially in the field of drilling, water
shutoff and profile control and tertiary oil recovery. Polyacrylamide aqueous solution has high viscosity,

papermaking to improve the quality of paper, slurry dehydration performance, retention rate of fine
