1. HENGDA-MS01, CAS No.  15396-00-6 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive isocyanato and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxy silyl groups.
2. The dual nature of its reactivity allows HENGDA-MS01 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and a surface modifier.
3. HENGDA-MS01 is a clear, colorless liquid.

Applications:

1.    It can be used as  silane crosslinking agent  for one part moisture curable urethane adhesives, sealants and coatings.
2.    It is used for the surface treatment of inorganic fillers and metallic materials, to improve their compatibility or adhesive with organic materials.
3.    It promotes adhesion and enhances fillers dispersion in coatings and sealants.
4.    It is used as a tackifier of RTV and enhances the bonding between rubber and substrates.

Reactivity:

1. In the presence of water, the methoxy groups of HENGDA-MS01 hydrolyzes form reactive silanol groups which can bond to a variety of inorganic substrates. The isocyanate group can react with numerous compounds with active hydrogen atoms. 
2. Examples of suitable inorganic substrates are glass, glass fibers, glass wool, mineral wool, silicic acid, quartz, sand, cristobalite, wollastonite and mica as well as aluminum hydroxide, kaolin, talc, other silicate fillers, metal oxides and metals.

Storage and shelf life:

1. HENGDA-MS01  is supplied in 25 kg,200 kg drums and 1000kg IBC containers.
2. The containers must remain tightly sealed during storage and kept in a cool, well aired place. The product should be protected against humidity.
3. In the unopened container HENGDA-MS01 has a shelf life of min. 6 months from delivery.
