"AAC conductor" is a type of electrical conductor used for power transmission and distribution. It stands for "All Aluminum Conductor" and is made up of one or more stranded aluminum wires. AAC conductors are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and have excellent electrical conductivity. They are often used in areas where conductivity is the primary requirement and strength is not a major concern. AAC conductors are commonly used in overhead power lines, electrical grids, and utility poles. They are also used in applications where weight is a concern, such as in the aerospace and transportation industries. AAC conductors have the advantage of being relatively inexpensive and easy to handle, but they may require more frequent maintenance than other types of conductors.
