Lucky Bamboo Plant     with other common names such as Curly Bamboo, Chinese Water Bamboo, Friendship Bamboo, Goddess of Mercy Plant and Ribbon Plant with a scientific name of Dracaena Sanderiana actually originated in the dark, tropical rainforests of Africa and Southeast Asia. Despite its common name ''Lucky Bamboo Plant'' this plant does not belong to Bamboo Family, it literally belongs to the family same as the Lily Plants.
