Purpose of the machine:
This machine is suitable for cleaning residual molding sand on the surface of castings after sand removal and sand removal, as well as sand sticking, iron sheet, and other particles that may affect the appearance of castings. It can also remove rust on the surface of profiles and steel pipes, as well as surface oxide skin on forgings, welded parts, and heat treated workpieces.
Under the action of air pressure, the abrasive inside the shot peening machine is sprayed at high speed on the surface of the workpiece, impacting and grinding with the metal surface to remove impurities and make the workpiece surface have a certain roughness, increasing the surface area of the workpiece. Not only does it make the workpiece beautiful, but it also greatly improves the adhesion of the coating layer, greatly improving the coating quality and corrosion resistance.

The structure and working principle of the machine
:
This shot peening machine consists of a shot peening tank, a hopper, a valve box, an air shut-off valve, a feeding valve, a thickening shot peening valve, an air source treatment system, and pipelines.
After the pressure inside the shot peening tank is established, the abrasive enters the mixing chamber of the thickening shot peening valve through the lower cone of the tank under the action of gas pressure and self weight. Then, the bullet and gas flow through the output pipe and nozzle at a speed of about 60 meters per second.
The hopper is located at the top of the shot peening tank, and there is a screen inside the hopper to prevent impurities and blocks from mixing in the abrasive, which can cause blockage of the shot peening valve.
The tank body is mainly used to hold abrasives. The upper part is equipped with a material valve, the lower part of the tank body is connected to a concentration shot blasting valve, and the middle part is fixed with an air source treatment and control system. For the convenience of maintenance, the tank body is equipped with access holes and hand holes.
The feeding valve is composed of a conical valve body and a guide rod. When inflating the tank, the cone moves up and presses against the sealing ring to achieve the purpose of sealing the tank, thereby establishing the pressure inside the tank.
The thickening shot peening valve is a device for accelerating the mixing of abrasive and air. After the abrasive enters the shot peening valve, it is thoroughly mixed with air in the mixing chamber and accelerated before being ejected from the nozzle. Adjusting the handwheel of the shot peening valve can change the flow rate of abrasive entering the mixing chamber, thereby obtaining a satisfactory mixing ratio and obtaining the best shot peening effect.
The valve box is equipped with an electromagnetic stop valve that controls the opening and closing of the shot blasting valve and air stop valve.
Pneumatic system
The pneumatic system of this machine is composed of shot peening tank, air source processing system, shut-off directional valve, electromagnetic shut-off valve, air shut-off valve, mixing chamber, conversion switch, and other parts.
After passing through the air filter, compressed air is divided into two channels. One is the control air source, which is further filtered and enters two electromagnetic stop valves to control the opening and closing of the shot peening valve and air stop valve. The other working air source enters the shut-off directional valve, and then enters the shot peening tank and the air shut-off valve respectively. The compressed air entering the shot peening tank closes the feeding valve, closes the shot peening tank, and builds pressure inside the tank. After the shot peening valve is opened, the abrasive is pressed into the mixing chamber and mixed with compressed air from the air shut-off valve before being sprayed out.
When adding materials or after the operation is completed, close the concentration shot blasting valve and air shut-off valve. The cut-off directional valve is powered off, and the compressed air in the tank returns to the cut-off directional valve through the filter. It is then discharged through a muffler at the exhaust port. At this point, the feeding valve drops and can be used for feeding. The next step is to use compressed air for cleaning. The shot blasting valve can be closed and only the air shut-off valve can be opened. At this time, only compressed air is sprayed at the nozzle to achieve the cleaning function. Due to the use of electromagnetic shut-off valves and other components to control the gas circuit, remote control can be implemented.
