 Type K/N/T/J/B/S/E Thermocouple Mineral Insulated Cable (MI cable)

MI thermocouple cable detail:  

  1). Conductor material: NiCr-NiSi, NiCrSi-NiSi, NiCr-Konstantan, Fe-Konstantan, Cu-Konstantan
  2). Core number: 2, 4 or 6 cores
  3). Sheath material: SS321(SS304), SS316, SS310, INCL600
  4). Insulator: 99.6% high purity MgO
  5). Dia(mm): from 0.25mm to 12.7mm

Application

Thermocouple mineral insulated cable is widely applied in industry, are used for power and control circuits of critical equipment, such as Temperature measurement devices; a proven choice for high temperature probe fabrication.

Contruction
Itis made by placing one or more wire conductors inside a circular copper tube and filling the intervening spaces with dry magnesium oxide powder.

The overall assembly is then pressed between rollers to reduce its diameter (and increase its length).
