S-Acetyl Glutathione is een absorberende vorm van glutathion. S-Acetyl Glutathione is doorgaans zeer moeilijk te absorberen in het spijsverteringskanaal, en is ook gewoonlijk zeer instabiel op de plank. Xymogen S-Acetyl Glutathione is een patent-aangevraagd, goed geabsorbeerd en stabieler vorm dan veel andere vormen op de markt. Uit laboratoriumgegevens blijkt dat S-acetylglutathion intracellulaire glutathion verhoogt. Glutathione is het belangrijkste antioxidant van het lichaam en heeft een positief effect op veel oxidatieve stress biomarkers.

Pure CAS 3054-47-5 S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione Capsule Anti-Aging S-Acetyl-L-GlutathioneS-Acetyl-L-Glutathione is de belangrijkste endogene antioxidant die door de cellen wordt geproduceerd, die rechtstreeks deelneemt aan de neutralisatie van vrije radicalen en reactieve zuurstofverbindingen, en die tevens exogene antioxidanten zoals vitaminen C en E in hun verminderde (actieve) vormen handhaaft.
S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione directe conjugatie ontgifkt veel xenobiotica (vreemde verbindingen) en carcinogene agentia, zowel organisch als anorganisch. Dit omvat zware metalen, lood en arsenicum.
S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione is essentieel voor het immuunsysteem om zijn volledige potentieel uit te oefenen.
S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione speelt een fundamentele rol in talrijke metabolische en biochemische reacties zoals DNA-synthese en -herstel, eiwitsynthese, prostaglandine-synthese, aminozuur transport en enzymactivering.
