ADA (CAS# 26239-55-4), N-(2-acetylamino)-2-iminodiacetic acid, also known as N-(2-acetylamino)-iminodiacetic acid. It is an amphoteric buffer reagent developed by Good N.E. and others in 1960. The product is a white powder, which is almost insoluble in water, but has a high solubility in sodium salts. It is almost insoluble in water but has a high solubility in sodium salts. The buffer range is from 6.0 to 7.2, and it has good stability.

ADA is a very important biological buffer, which is widely used in the biological system diagnostic industry, pharmaceutical intermediates,biological buffer, and many other applications. For example, ADA buffer can be used for protein crystallization and microtubule polymerization; As a capillary electrophoresis buffer and provides optimal results in the separation of amiodarone and desethylamiodarone;as a sample buffer in differential scanning calorimetry to study fibroblast grow factor that cannot be studied in phosphate or sulfate buffers;

as a buffer in cation exchange chromatography,it should not be used at high concentrations due to the high ionic strength and relatively high dependence of the concentration on pKa.The product needs to be stored in a cool place.
