Nature:  A  White or grayish powder.

 

Application : Fosfomycin intermediates, can also be used for curing accelerator, cosmetics (cream, lotion),                      paraffin wax emulsifier, biological buffer.

Application

Tris buffer is not only widely used as a solvent for nucleic acids and proteins, but also has many important applications. 

 
1, Tris is used for protein crystal growth under different pH conditions.   
2, The low ionic strength of Tris buffer can be used for the formation of intermediate fibers of lamin in c. elegans.   
3 Tris is also one of the main components of protein electrophoresis buffer.   
4,Tris is used as an intermediate in the preparation of surfactants, vulcanization promoters and some drugs.   
5, Tris is also used as a titration standard.
