Description 

A 9-peptide hormone, mainly synthesized by the supraoptic nucleus of the hypothalamus, and then suspended in the body for storage. When needed in the body chemistry book, it is released into the blood. It has the effects of anti-diuresis, contraction of small arteries and capillaries to increase blood pressure, hemostasis, and excitement of colon and bladder smooth muscles. For diabetes insipidus, hemostasis during acute bleeding from esophageal varices, surgical shock, intestinal paralysis, bladder paralysis, and diagnosis of central diabetes insipidus.

Application

1. For the treatment of central diabetes insipidus.
2. For the initial treatment of polyuria after brain surgery or head trauma.
3. Used for abdominal muscle relaxation where other drugs are not effective.
