Diethylhydroxylamine is kleurloze transparante vloeistof, oplosbaar in water.
1. Als vinylmonomeer is het een efficiënte polymerisatieremmer voor geconjugeerde olefinen. 2. In het geval van bestaande polymerisatiezaden in de terminal in de vloeistof- of gasfase kan deze worden gebruikt als een polymerisatiemiddel met hoge efficiëntie voor de terminal. 3. Het is een uitstekende terminator voor styreen-butadieen emulsiepolymerisatie. 4. Het is een antioxidant voor onverzadigde oliën en harsen. Het is een goede stabilisator voor lichtgevoelige hars, lichtgevoelige emulsie en synthetische hars. 6. Het is een goede fotochemische smogremmer in de milieubescherming. 7. Het is een corrosiewerende middel voor ketelvoedingwater en stoomwarmtewisselingsapparatuur.
