Instruction:
The anti-spark wire including a bullet connector and an anti-spark resistor. So you can separate it into two wires. You must solder another wire on the negative wire of the battery pack. If you want to connect the ESC to the battery pack, you can connect the red wire of ESC to the positive wire of the battery at first. Then connect the anti-spark wires well. The last step is to connect the black wire of ESC to the negative wires of the battery. If do like that, no spark will be generated, and it will protect the main bullets connector from damaged .

FAQ

Q :What signal do you use for your ESC to control the motor speed?

A :Our standard ESC uses 1-2mS@50Hz PPM signal to control the motor speed. That is, a positive pulse with a period of 20mS and a width of 1-2mS controls the motor speed by the pulse width. For ESC without reverse function, 1mS is the neutral point when the motor does not turn, and 2mS is the maximum speed of the motor. For ESC with reverse function, 1.5mS is the neutral point, the motor does not turn, 2mS is the maximum motor speed in forward direction, and 1.0mS is the maximum motor speed in reverse direction.

Q :Why does the ESC alarm and the throttle cannot control the motor speed?

A :If the ESC keeps alarming and the throttle cannot control the motor speed. It is because the ESC does not receive the throttle signal, please make sure whether there is any problem with the signal line connection when it happens. In addition, most of our ESCs are OPTO ESCs, which means the signal input is by optocoupler, and at the same time the ESC itself does not provide 5V output. Therefore, the red wire in the signal line must be supplied with 5V from outside, which is used to power the ESC's OPTO, otherwise the ESC cannot receive the throttle signal. Please make sure that 5V is provided to the ESC.

Q :What does "ESC Voltage 4-16S" mean?

A :ESCs generally calculate the operating voltage by the number of lithium cells which support them. 16S means that it can support up to 16 lithium batteries. Usually calculated as 1S=4.2V, 4S is 4.2*4=16.8V, 16S is 4.2*16=67.2V. So the operating voltage supported by 4-16S ESC is 16.8V-67.2V.

Q:What is the thin black wire next to the black main wire of the ESC for?

A :It is the anti-spark wire. It will produce a big spark the moment you connect the power wire to the battery wire if the voltage is high, which will damage the connector. So we add an anti-spark wire to the ESC, which can prevent the wire from sparkling. The anti-spark wire is connected with a resistor a pair of male and female bullet connector. Using method: After separating the male and female bullet connectors to make it into two wires, connect the free end of the anti-spark wire to the negative pole of the battery. Later, when connect the ESC to the battery, connect the positive pole of the battery first, then insert the male and female bullet connector of the anti-spark wire, and at last, connect the negative main line of the battery, so as to prevent the power wire from sparkling when connected.

Q:What is the maximum RPM that the ESC supports?

A:The RPM supported by the ESC itself is usually much larger than the maximum RPM of the motor. The maximum RPM of the motor is determined by the motor parameters, and has nothing to do with the ESC. The maximum RPM of the motor is approximately equal to the product of the motor KV value and voltage. The maximum RPM of our ESC is 240K, which means that a 2-pole motor can support up to 240KRPM. When it is an n-pole motor, the maximum RPM supported by the ESC is 240K/n. For example, for a 6 pair pole (12 pole) motor, the maximum RPM supported by the ESC is 40KRPM (60,000 RPM)
