What is Cyclophosphamide ?Cyclophosphamide is one of the most commonly used alkylating antitumor agents. It is white crystalline or crystalline powder at room temperature (the loss of crystalline water is liquefied) and stable at room temperature. Soluble in water, but not very soluble. Aqueous solution is unstable, so it should be used shortly after dissolution. Soluble in ethanol. First synthesized in 1958 by Arnold and Bourseaux, the synthesis of this compound and its derivatives is based on the structure and action of previous anticancer drugs. Mainly used for tumor immunity, after entering the human body, in the liver microsomal enzyme catalyzed to explain the alkylation of strong chloroethylphosphamide (or phosphamide nitrogen mustard), and produce cytotoxic effect on tumor cells, has obvious inhibitory effect on a variety of tumors, in recent years because it has been proved to have immunosuppressive effect and used in the treatment of a variety of autoimmune diseases, has achieved obvious efficacy. |
