How to use it:

1. Vernier depth gages is mainly used to measure the depth of workpieces, the step height and the depth of the groove steps. For example, when measuring the the depth of the hole, it should put the base surface closing to the hole surface.

2. Let the caliper body parallel to the centerline of hole. Put the caliper body into the hole, and the distance between the caliper surface and the based surface is the depth size of measured workpieces.

3. Its reading method is the same as the vernier caliper.
