Silicon carbide has four main application areas, namely: functional ceramics, advanced refractory materials, abrasives and metallurgical raw materials. Coarse SIC material can be supplied in large quantities, can not be counted as high-tech products, and the application of nano-sized SIC powder with very high technical content is impossible to form economies of scale in a short time.

(3) High purity single crystal, can be used to manufacture semiconductors, manufacturing silicon carbide fiber. Main Applications: 3-12 inch monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon, potassium arsenide, quartz crystal and other linear cutting. Solar photovoltaic industry, semiconductor industry, piezoelectric crystal industry engineering processing materials. Used in semiconductor, lightning rod, circuit components, high temperature applications, UV detector, structural materials, astronomy, disc brake, clutch, diesel particulate filter, fine wire pyrometer, ceramic film, cutting tools, heating elements, nuclear fuel, jewelry, steel, protective gear, catalyst support and other fields.
