Product introductions:
Silicon carbide is made from the mixture of pure silica sand and green petroleum coke in ultra high power acheson furnace.Electric current is passed through the conductor,bringing about a chemical reaction in which the carbon in the coke and silicon in the sand combined to form SIC and carbon monoxide gas. Silicon carbide is wide Iγused in abrasives, metallurgy and retractorγ industries.

Applications
1.ceramic,glass,stone,refractory material,cast iron and nonferrous metals,etc.
2.As abrasive,silicon carbide can be used for abrasive tools, such as grinding wheel,oilstone,grinding,sand tile etc.
3.As metallurgical deoxidizer and high temperature resistance materials.
4.As the single crystal of high purity,silicon carbide can be used for manufacturing ,silicon carbide fiber.
