Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) CAS 9054-89-1
The main function of superoxide dismutase is to specifically clear the superoxide anion O-2 in the body to remove the damage caused by the oxidation of the components of the body by the oxygen anion.  Its half-life is short, usually only 6 ~ 10min.  The relative molecular weight is large, it is not easy to penetrate the cell membrane, and the orally susceptible protein is inactivated by the enzyme for Chemicalbook use.  So clinical application is limited.  The enzyme is an acidic protein, relatively stable, heat resistant.  Stable when Ph7.6 ~ 9, unstable below ph6 and above 12h.  In particular, it is extremely unstable below ph2.  It has strong resistance to pepsin and trypsin hydrolysis.
