  Glycerolmonostearaat (hierna monoglyceride genoemd) is een soort   oliechemisch product. Het wordt veel gebruikt in de voedsel- en dagelijkse chemische industrie.het kan worden gebruikt als smeermiddel voor de productie van PVC transparante deeltjes, als emulgator voor Cream Cosmetics, als anti-bestoter in de productie van landbouwplastic films en als antistatisch middel in de productie van verpakkingsfilms.
