The theoretical life of the led light source is very long, but the overall life of a lamp is not simply the life of the light source, the lamp also includes the influence of the drive and the lens part. Therefore, the life of the final street lamp should be limited to the shortest life of all the lamp parts. At present, the life of the good driving power supply and the lens made of silicon material in China can reach 50,000 hours.
The power saving part. Take 120w LED lamps instead of 250w high-pressure sodium lamps as an example. The actual power of the high-pressure sodium lamp needs to be multiplied by the coefficient of the ballast, calculated according to 1.17, the actual power is 292.5w. In the entire line of the lamp, there is also a reactive loss, line loss, transformer loss, etc., in this case, it is not increased, and only compared with the lower value in theory. LED whole lamp power = light source power + power loss, now a good manufacturer LED drive efficiency can do about 97%, almost negligible. Taking 100 street lights for 12h as an example, the daily power consumption of high-pressure sodium lamps =292.5*100/1000*12=351 degrees. LED daily power consumption =120*100/1000*12=144 degrees, if coupled with the intelligent dimming of FLED street lights, the entire energy saving rate is at least 70%
In general, led street lights are brighter than traditional high-pressure sodium lamps with the same power, and when configuring LED light sources, they can not be configured in accordance with old concepts. At the same time, it also saves electricity and energy than high-pressure sodium lamps.
