Product description : EB can not go through the living cell membrane. It can stain the nucleus DNA through dead cell damaged membrane. It contains a planar group which can be embedded into the base. The group is located close to the base, and the dye is combined with DNA. The fluorescence yield of the EB-ChemicalbookDNA complex is much larger than that of the unbound dye. When the gel gel contains free EB, a small amount of DNA can be measured. It is a highly sensitive fluorescent reagent and also an important fluorescent dye. Binding to DNA inhibits DNA replication and transcription
