Ship plate refers to the hot-rolled steel plate produced according to the requirements of classification society for the manufacture of ship structure. The general strength structural steel according to the China Classification Society code is divided into four quality grades: A, B, D and E (CCSA, CCSB, CCSD and CCSE). China Classification Society code standard high strength structural steel has three strength grades and four quality grades.
