Myoglobin Detection Kit (Fluorescent Immunochromatography Assay) is suitable for quantitative determination of the concentration of myoglobin (Myo) in human whole blood, serum, or plasma samples. As a clinical auxiliary diagnosis, it can be used in clinical systems, medical institutions, and scientific research fields.
Myo is a binding protein consisting of a peptide chain and a heme auxiliary group. It is a protein that stores oxygen in muscle and is widely found in skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and smooth muscle. It is located in the cytoplasm with a molecular weight of 17.8 KD. Once a patient has acute myocardial infarction, Myo in the cytoplasm is released into the blood. Myo has a high diagnostic sensitivity within 12 hours of the onset of acute myocardial infarction, which is beneficial for early diagnosis. It is the earliest marker of acute myocardial infarction so far.
