RG-58/U cable has a  characteristic impedance  of 50 Ω . "RG" was originally a unit indicator for bulk RF cable in the U.S. military's  Joint Electronics Type Designation System . The material of conductor is usually bare copper, the shielding is b raided Bare Copper wire  or Tinned Copper  (70% to 95% coverage)
The outside diameter of RG-58 is around 5mm. RG58 /U  weighs around  40 g/m, exhibits approximately 82pF/m capacitance . The  maximum voltage is 300 V. RG-58 cable has a solid center conductor. The RG-58A/U features a flexible 7 or 19   strand center conductor.
