AC switching elements are a crucial part of safety and protection function in charging stations and PV system.

As an important part of the solar power generation system, the photovoltaic inverter can convert the DC current output generated from the photovoltaic panel into AC current, which can then be incorporated into the commercial grid or other off-grid power systems. In the grid connection interface, the electromagnetic relay on the AC side of the inverter plays a key role as a switching device to provide the necessary safe "open circuit" function.

IM-NE801A is a two-pole PCB power relay for new energy power generation(EV Charger, Solar Inverter, Energy Storage System). It features a high-capacity resistive switching load rating of for 50K cycles (@32A 230VAC) or 20K cycles (@40A 230VAC). The relay also features a mirror contact structure (compliant with EN60947-4-1) which uses a 2 Form A contact arrangement. IM-NE801A has a normally open contact gap of 3mm, which makes this relay VDE0126 compliant with European photovoltaic standards and meets the 4kV surge breakdown voltage between contacts required to be compliant with the EN61810-1 Industry standard.

The relay has   short-time overcurrent   characteristics, can withstand   three times of 1000A 1ms overcurrent , and the contacts will not be damaged, and can continue to work normally to open and close.

    1.1 The biggest differences between this new energy relay and traditional latching relay or power relay are:
    the wider contact distance and stronger dielectric strength of 4000Vac instead of 1500 /2000Vac.
    So the contact distance can be 3mm or normal type.
   1.2 The nominal voltage of coil are 12Vdc and 24Vdc with the low power consumption of 1.8W or 3W.
   Plz note that you should d ri ve the circuit/coil with step-down voltage to ensure power consumption of 1W~1.5W.
   1.3 Two poles of contacts of this relay, it means it can cont rol 2 circuits and the default status is 2A- normally open.
   Simply put,
if you buy it as ev relay then most time the relay is open and not work, some times they are closed when charging.
