Sodium sulfid e is also called 
stinky alkali, stinky soda, yellow alkali, and alkali sulfide. Sodium sulfid e is an inorganic compound. It has strong moisture absorption and is easily soluble in water. The aqueous solution shows a strong alkaline reaction.

1. Used in the production of sulfur dyes in the dye industry. In printing and dyeing industry, it is used as a dyeing aid for dissolving sulfur dyes.
2. It can be used to remove alkali-soluble heavy metal impurities such as zinc in alkaline etching solution.
3. Sodium sulfide can also be used for the treatment of conductive layer in direct electroplating.
4. Used as a corrosion inhibitor.
5. Used in the manufacture of sulfur dyes, leather depilatory, metal smelting, photography, rayon denitration, etc.
