This tracker is based on the GSM / GPRS network and GPS satellite positioning system, which set multiple functions of security, positioning, monitoring surveillance, emergency alarms and tracking in its entirety.

1.Positioning and Tracking: Through the on-line Positioning Platform or calling the gps tracker via your mobile phone,it will reply a SMS including longitude and latitude and a google map link,open this link,you can see the vehicle location on the google map.
*Get location in real street/address name, send "address+password" to the tracker,it will reply you the
SMS including phsical street/ address. For example: No.8, Guankou 2nd Rd., Nantou, Nanshan district, Shenzhen, Guangdong, china. You must set up the APN of your local GSM network for the SIM card in tracker first before using this function.
*Location Based Service.
*Remote Engine-stop and Resume in case of vehicle theft: you can control the oil and circuit via the unit by SMS in anywhere and anytime. so you can retrieve stolen vehicle,cars.
*Tracking function by timing and frequency.
*Authorized number added and deleted function.
*Support hidden alarm and monitor function.
*Geo-fence: Set up a geo-fence for the unit to restrict its movements within a district. The unit will send the message to all authorized numbers when it breaches the district.

Both Google Maps and Google Earth can easily translate the data into usable visual information.
The unit does not pick up a GSM signal and the SMS functions aren't working,
What's wrong? A number of things could cause this to happen:
1) Make sure the SIM card is compatible (only 2G, 2.5G, 2.75G SIM cards work

2) Make sure there is money left on the SIM card and that it has not expired

3) Make sure there is no PIN code associated with the SIM card

4) Make sure roaming is enabled on your SIM account if you are in a different country
Can I install the software on multiple computers?
No. Each tracker's IMEI number is unique and can only be used to setup the software on one computer once and ONLY ONCE, which means you can only use the software on that computer exclusively after successfully set it up. This is due to the security requirements of the software and the product.
