β-Estradiol is used to study cell differentiation and transformations (tumorigenicity).

Estradiol (β-Estradiol)   is a steroid hormone and the major female sex hormone. Estradiol can up-regulate the

expression of neural markers of human endometrial stem cells (hEnSCs) and promote their neural differentiation.

Estradiol can be used for the research of cancers, neurodegenerative diseases and neural tissue engineering.

β-Estradiol   is the major estrogen secreted by the premenopausal ovary. It acts as an estrogenic hormone receptor

(ER) agonist and activator of PI 3-kinase. Further, it is used in the treatment of infertility in women, prostate cancer

and breast cancer. It is also employed as an agent of stimulating female puberty induction, as in the treatment of

delayed puberty caused by hypogonadism or Turner's syndrome. In addition to this, it is used as part of the hormone

replacement therapy for transgender women.

Soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, ethanol , water, phosphate buffer saline, dimethyl formamide and alkali hydroxides.

Slightly soluble in vegetable oils.
