Introductie van de productie :
Cefmetazole is een semi-synthetisch, beta-lactam cefalosporin antibioticum van de tweede generatie met antibacteriële activiteit. Cefmetazole bindt aan penicilline-bindende eiwitten (PBP's) die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het kruisverband van peptidoglycan. Door het voorkomen van kruiskoppeling van peptidoglycan gaat de integriteit van de celwand verloren en wordt de synthese van de celwand gestopt.


 
Toepassing :

Cefmetazole     is   geïndiceerd voor de behandeling van Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus, Morganella, Provedus, Streptococcus, Bacteroides, die gevoelig zijn voor cefmetazol-natrium de volgende infecties veroorzaakt door genus en prevobacter (behalve Proviral): sepsis, acute bronchitis, longontsteking, longabces, empyema, Secundaire infectie van chronische ademhalingsziekten, cystitis, pyelonefritis, peritonitis, cholecystitis, cholangitis, vestibular-klierontsteking, intra-uteriene infectie, annexitis aan de baarmoeder, para-uteriene weefselontsteking, cellulitis rond de kaak, en jawitis.
