Rebar is the common name of hot - rolled ribbed steel bar. The ordinary hot-rolled steel bar grade consists of the HRB and the minimum yield point of the grade.
Rebar is usually has two long itudinal and transverse ribs evenly distributed along the length direction.
The nominal diameter of the rebar ranges from 8mm to 50mm. Recommended diameters are 8,12,16,20,25,32,40mm.
Ribbed reinforcement is mainly subjected to tensile stress in concrete. Ribbed steel bars have greater binding force with concrete and can better withstand external forces due to the role of ribs.
