Description:

Ultramid B3WM8 is a heat stabilized, pigmented black, 40% mineral reinforced PA6 injection molding resin. It possesses high stiffness, dimensional stability and heat resistance combined with excellent processability including low warp and resistance to sink-mark formation. It maintains its inherent chemical resistance to greases, oils and hydrocarbons.

Ultramid B3ZG3 is an impact-modified, 15% glass fiber reinforced injection molding PA6 grade.

Ultramid B3ZG6 is an impact-modified, 30% glass fiber reinforced injection molding PA6 grade for industrial items having very high impact strength and rigidity.

Ultramid B3ZG7 is a 35% glass reinforced, black, heat stabilized, impact modified PA6 injection molding grade.

Ultramid B3ZG7 SC is an uncolored, 35% glass reinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified PA6 injection molding grade.

Ultramid B3ZG8 is an impact-modified, pigmented black and 40% glass fiber reinforced injection molding PA6 grade having very high impact strength and rigidity.

Ultramid HFX 32 is a polyamide specialty extrusion resin combining high flexibility, excellent burst performance and outstanding chemical resistance. It offers high melt strength and enhanced heat stability.

Ultramid HFX 33 is a polyamide specialty extrusion resin combining high flexibility, excellent burst performance and outstanding chemical resistance. It offers high melt strength and enhanced heat stability.

Ultramid HFX 35 is a polyamide specialty extrusion resin combining high flexibility, outstanding chemical resistance and enhanced heat stability.

Overview:
Ultramid grades are molding compounds on the basis of PA6, PA66 and various co-polyamides such as PA66/6. The range also includes PA610 and semi-aromatic polyamides such as PA6T/6. The molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. In addition, Ultramid offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and can be processed without any problems.

The most important properties of Ultramid:
High strength and rigidity
Very good impact strength
Outstanding resistance to chemicals
Low tendency to creep
Dimensional stability
Simple processing

Because of the manifold and tailor-made characteristics of Ultramid many applications are possible, especially in automotive construction, electrical engineering and electronics, in household technology, industrial connection, photovoltaics, in construction and installation, furniture, the sanitary industry and in mechanical engineering.

Ultramid can be processed by all methods known for thermoplastics. The main methods are injection molding and extrusion. Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers from Ultramid by injection molding. The extrusion method is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments. Semi-finished products are usually further processed by cutting tools to form finished molded parts.
