Naproxen (English: Naproxen, INN), is a kind of NSAID, for normal or severe pain, fever,
inflammation, and by rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing
spondylitis, gout, menstrual cramps, tendonitis, slippery bursa phlogistic wait for disease
caused by ankylosing reaction, also has therapeutic effect for menstrual disorders. The drug
works by inhibiting two enzymes, COX-1 and COX-2. Naproxen series in the Chinese market
is the name of naproxen, in the United States, to Aleve, Anaprox, Miranax, Naprogesic,
Naprosyn, Naprelan, Proxen, Synflex and other trade names sales. Naprosyn was first sold
as a prescription drug in the United States in 1976. In 1980 naproxen sodium was marketed
in the United States under the name Anaprox. It is sold almost everywhere in the world as
a prescription drug. The FDA approved Naproxen sodium for sale as AN OTC product under
the name Aleve in 1994. In Australia, low-dose, small-package Naproxen tops SUSDP. In the
UK, in 2008, OTC tablets containing naproxen 250mg were sold as Feminax Ultra, OTC's
Feminax drug, to alleviate menstrual pain in women aged between 15 and 50.
