The Transparent Adhesive Film measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/4" and is composed of a thin polyurethane (PU) film, coated with hypoallergenic, latex-free adhesive. The film gently and firmly sticks to the skin, providing a breathable, sterile, and water-resistant against external pollutants. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing on skin wounds. The dressing can protect areas with delicate skin against mild physical traumas as well.
-
The intact skin under the dressing, especially close to the edges, must be completely clean and dry, not moist or oily. May use alcohol pad for cleaning, allow it to dry 30-60 seconds.
-
Take the sterile transparent adhesive film out of the pouch and peel away the split white release paper.
-
Apply the adhesive side of transparent film (with backing film with blue tabs still on it) over the desired skin area.
-
Gently press down on the dressing, paying particular attention to the edges to assure dressing is properly adhered to the skin. Avoid creases or trapped air bubbles.
-
Peel away the backing film starting at the precut blue tabs.
