1. HENGDA- E5133 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive chloro and hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxy silyl groups.
2. The dual nature of its reactivity allows HENGDA- E5133 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and a surface modifier.
3. HENGDA- E5133 is a clear, colorless liquid.

Applications:

1. Main raw material for making HENGDA-Si69,HENGDA-E8133 and other silane coupling agents.
2. As a rubber processing aid, it is used to couple inorganic fillers in various halogenated rubbers, such as: chloroprene rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene and other halogenated rubbers , to improve various physical and mechanical properties.
3. Synthesis of organosilicon compounds containing quaternary ammonium salt cations, used as an anti-mold and deodorant finishing agents, and with special sterilization, deodorant, antistatic and surface activity.

Reactivity:

1. In the presence of water, the ethoxy groups of HENGDA- E5133 hydrolyzes form reactive silanol groups which can bond to a variety of inorganic substrates.
2. Examples of suitable inorganic substrates are glass, glass fibers, glass wool, mineral wool, silicic acid, quartz, sand, cristobalite, wollastonite and mica as well as aluminum hydroxide, kaolin, talc, other silicate fillers, metal oxides and metals.
3. HENGDA- E5133 may be used with such polymers as epoxy, phenolic, furan and melamine resins, polyurethanes, PA, PBT, PC, EVA, modified PP, PVB, PVAC, PVC, acrylics and silicones.

Storage and shelf life:

1. HENGDA- E5133  is supplied in 25 kg,200 kg drums and 1000kg IBC containers.
2. The containers must remain tightly sealed during storage and kept in a cool, well aired place. The product should be protected against humidity.
3.In the unopened container HENGDA- E5133 has a shelf life of min.12 months from delivery.
